JAW Wood Composite Hybrid Baseball Bat

150 Day Limited Warranty

JAW Bats Acquisition, LLC (“JAW”) Wood Hybrid Composite bats are engineered to combine the feel and performance of premium wood with reinforced composite construction designed to improve durability, consistency, and long-term performance retention. 

 

JAW offers a one-time replacement limited warranty on eligible JAW Wood Hybrid Composite bats for a period of one hundred fifty (150) days from the original date of purchase (“Warranty Period”).  This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and requires valid proof of purchase from an authorized JAW dealer.

 

What Is Covered

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects resulting from normal field use, including:

·       Structural cracking 

·       Barrel separation 

·       Severe breakage 

·       Broken or detached end caps or components 

·       Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship 

If your bat experiences one of the covered conditions above during the Warranty Period, discontinue use immediately and submit a warranty claim.

 

What Is Not Covered

JAW reserves the right to deny any claim determined to result from misuse, abuse, alteration, or improper care.  This limited warranty does not cover:

·       Cosmetic damage, including paint, graphics, decals, or grip wear 

·       Normal wear and tear including collapsed/chipped cups

·       Surface marks, scratches, or ball marks from normal use 

·       Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence[MC1] , or improper care 

o   Including dents made from cleats or fencing

·       Damage caused by hitting objects other than regulation leather-covered baseballs 

·       Use in commercial batting cages  

·       Use in temperatures below 60°F (15°C) 

·       Team-use or shared-use bats 

·       Altered or doctored bats including; rolling, shaving, heating, end-loading, or any other modifications 

·       Any bats with the JAW logo removed or covered

·       Products that have been customized after-market by a third party 

·       Products that were won through a promotion & no charge products 

·       Products with repair attempts made by anyone other than JAW

·       Blemished, used, resold, clearance, demo, or “as-is” products 

·       “Dead bat,” “loss of pop,” diminished performance, or compression-related claims 

·       Products with removed, altered, or defaced serial numbers or date codes 

·       Bats purchased from unauthorized dealers

·       Claims made outside the Warranty Period


To Submit A Warranty Claim

·       Clear photos of the damaged area 

·       Description of the issue


Warranty coverage eligibility is determined solely by JAW after review and inspection.

 

Warranty Claim Requirements

To submit a warranty claim, the following are required: 

·       Original proof of purchase 

·       Copy of completed JAW warranty form (located on the JAW website) 

o   Bat model and size information 

o   Bat serial number (if applicable) 

o   Clear photos of the damaged area 

o   Description of the issue 

·       Delivery of the damaged bat to JAW

 

Replacement Terms

If JAW determines that the bat qualifies under this limited warranty, JAW may, at its sole discretion:

1.     Repair the bat, 

2.     Replace the bat with the same model and size, or 

3.     Replace the bat with a comparable model if the original model is unavailable or discontinued. 

Replacement bats do not restart or extend the original Warranty Period.  This warranty is limited to one (1) replacement per original bat purchase.

 

Warranty and Liability Limitation

Other than the express warranties made above, JAW makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, by operation of law or otherwise, as to the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of the goods sold hereunder. JAW will not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages.  JAW’s only obligation shall be the replacement or repair of non-conforming goods. 

Proper Care and Use

To maximize durability and performance:

·       Use only regulation leather-covered baseballs 

·       Avoid use below 60°F (15°C) 

·       Do not use in commercial batting cages 

·       Store in a cool, dry environment 

·       Do not hit metal cleats, rocks, fencing, poles, or other hard surfaces 

·       Inspect the bat regularly for cracks or structural damage 

Continued use of a damaged bat may increase risk of injury and void warranty coverage.


Third-Party Certifications

Any certification mark, approval, or compliance designation applied to a JAW bat, including but not limited to BBCOR, USA Baseball, or USSSA, represents certification or compliance at the time of manufacture only.

 

JAW does not guarantee that any bat will maintain certification or compliance indefinitely through the life of the product.

 

Should a governing body modify certification standards or revoke approval after manufacturing, JAW may, at its sole discretion, offer repair, replacement, retrofit, or alternative remedy programs where applicable.
